The Compliance Manager will be responsible for keeping a company's activities within the guidelines, regulations, and ethical expectations of their field. Their duties include monitoring business operations and reporting infractions, reviewing company policies for possible risks and liabilities, and researching legal requirements for new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Create standards in accordance with flooring industry standards and customer expectations.
- Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are met at all times.
- Liaison with external companies providing audit assistance.
- Development compliance documentation for compliance and reporting metrics to management and suggest improvements for performance.
- Management of internal records relating to compliance and quality through warehouse/manufacturing processes.
- Training of staff on compliance issues.
- Create, modify, update, and implement the company's policies.
- Develop risk management strategies.
- Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with HL business policies.
- Familiar with major customers' requirements, such as THD.
- Establish and maintain verification programs.
- Management of customer audits as well as auditing key suppliers and supplier visits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bilingual: Mandarin Chinese
- Possesses strong attention to detail
- Personal integrity
- Good understanding of measurement and statistics
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Documentation skills
- Excel skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's or higher degree required
- Five years of compliance and testing in the flooring industry
